Portfolio update: Mindful Chef acquired by Nestle
I am glad to announce the acquisition of Mindful Chef by Nestle.
We invested in www.mindfulchef.com in October 2017 when the company has £3m of annual revenues and 8 employees.
As of today, Mindful Chef is on track to achieve £50m of revenues in 2020 and employ over 50 people.
Mostly important, Mindful Chef was not only able to become a giant of the UK food tech industry but to pursue its strong social mission. With its program Mindful Chef for 1 feed 2, for every Mindful Chef meal sold, the company donate a school meal to a child living in poverty. As of today the company donated over 5,000,000 meals.
A huge congratulation to Giles, Myles and Robert, three school friends from Devon who founded the business in 2015.
